Time & Location

The House Plymouth, Drake Circus, Plymouth PL4 8AA, UK
About the event
In the frame of the Plymouth Performance Festival, The NET, a Contemporary Dance Performance, opens a window to experience and unusually connect with your senses.
The NET promotes new awareness and appreciation of the marvellous world of our nervous systems, the codification of stimuli via sensory organs and their transformation into messages that connect us with our external world. This incredible system of messaging and its sophisticated operations of circular and cyclic actions and reactions within our bodies can be seen as an analogy of the invisible net that interconnects us with everything in nature. Even human communication can be viewed as an interconnection with the universe. The NET therefore offers a dynamic and stimulating opportunity to engage and react to these intercommunication alongside the dancers and to feel and experience this invisible net playfully.
